1. According to power frequency, it can be divided into high frequency furnace, medium frequency furnace and industrial frequency furnace
(1) High frequency furnace
The power frequency is generally over 10000 HZ.
Mainly used for the smelting of cast iron and steel, especially high-strength cast iron and alloy cast iron, as well as the heating, heat preservation and composition adjustment of the cast iron solution; also used for the smelting of copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys
The induction furnace whose power supply frequency is in the range of 150-10000 Hz is called medium frequency induction furnace, and its main frequency is in the range of 150-2500 Hz.
The capacity and power of the medium frequency melting furnace are larger than that of the high frequency furnace
(3)industrial frequency furnace
The power frequency is generally 50 HZ or 60 HZ.
The capacity is below 50 kg, suitable for laboratory and small-scale production of special steel and special alloy.
2. According to the purpose, it can be divided into induction melting furnace and induction heating equipment
Mainly user for melting or heat preservation of materials, and the charge is finally liquid.
(2)induction heating equipment
Mainly used for heating of materials, including uniform heating of the whole material, surface heating or local heating.
