The closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace is a non-standard and efficient circulating cooling equipment, which is widely used in the circulating cooling process of the medium frequency furnace. The closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace transfers the heat generated in the furnace body to the cooling water through the circulating water system, thereby reducing the temperature of the medium frequency furnace and ensuring its normal operation.


1. Description of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace:
The cooling water of the medium frequency furnace is crucial to the medium frequency heating equipment. Insufficient water pressure, too high water temperature, water interruption or impurities in the water, and blocked pipes may cause damage to the power supply components and sensor coils of the medium frequency furnace.

;2. The principle of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace:
1. The air-cooled part of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace: The working fluid (soft water or other liquid) circulates in the cooler of the closed cooling tower. After the heat of the fluid is absorbed by the pipe wall of the cooler, the heat of the pipe wall is discharged out of the machine through the fan at the top.
2. Water cooling part of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace: When the fluid temperature is too high (exceeding the set temperature), the spray system is automatically started, and the spray pump sprays water on the wet and hot pipe wall to form a water film, absorbing a large amount of heat (latent heat of evaporation) through evaporation. Part of the spray water turns into water vapor and is carried away by the flowing air, and the unevaporated water drops into the water collection tank for the next cycle. The fluid in the coil is closed and circulated, theoretically without consumption. The consumption of spray water is only 0.1-0.2% of the unit flow rate.
3. Advantages of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace:
1. The circulating cooling medium of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace is closed and no impurities enter, ensuring the purity of the medium; the water used in the water circulation is soft water, which does not scale and does not block the pipeline; it occupies a small area and can be moved and placed as needed; it consumes little energy and is simple and reliable to operate.
2. Compared with the traditional open cooling tower, the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace realizes the fully closed internal circulation of cooling water (pure water), which greatly avoids water waste and water pollution, and basically eliminates corrosion and scaling.
3. The closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace carries a self-supply water system. Its installation and relocation are no longer dependent on the external water pool, so the operation is very convenient, and only includes the simple disassembly, installation and circuit connection of the cooling pipeline.
4. Automated electrical control enables the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace to adjust the air volume and spray volume according to the changes in ambient temperature, and maximize the efficiency and energy saving of the cooling process. At the same time, the electrical control facilities of the closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace can be installed at any place in the factory according to requirements to implement the remote control function and realize automatic synchronous start-up with the electric furnace.
5. The closed cooling tower of the medium frequency furnace has manual and automatic settings for key operating parameters such as cooling water level and inlet and outlet temperatures.
