Precautions for operation of intermediate frequency furnace

The intermediate frequency furnace is mainly used for smelting, thermal deformation and quenching of metal materials and alloy materials. It consists of frequency conversion device, furnace body, and furnace control. The intermediate frequency furnace will always encounter many problems in the process of use. Next, Huaxin Xiaobian will bring you relevant introductions.
Precautions for operation of intermediate frequency furnace

1. When adding iron to the intermediate frequency furnace, it is strictly forbidden to collide with the furnace wall.

2. The overall temperature of molten iron should be <1450°C (upper <1400°C, middle <1450°C).

3. It is recommended to regularly check whether there is leakage or poor circulation at the connection of each cooling pipe of the intermediate frequency furnace, especially the cooling part of the intermediate frequency power supply, to avoid damage to the thyristor due to leakage or poor circulation. When the pure water system leaks, the pure water pump motor can be turned off.

4. Inspection: Waterproof and inspect the intermediate frequency furnace in time every two hours. Check the water temperature gauge, water pressure gauge, whether there is water leakage in the pipeline, each instrument of the intermediate frequency power supply, and whether there is iron in the coil, etc.

5. The thermal state of the furnace lining is measured in each shift, and recorded on the handover record. The scrap standard of the furnace lining is greater than 950mm, ft, and it will be scrapped when it reaches 950mm. When measuring the furnace, it is strictly forbidden to put the measuring instrument into the molten iron.

6. The furnace body and base iron slag and garbage should be blown off in each shift.

7. At any time, there needs to be someone on duty in front of the furnace.
